Valerie Millwood, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, NP-BC

Valerie Millwood DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, NP-BC completed her undergraduate training at Anderson University in South Carolina. She went on to earn her master’s and doctoral degrees from Frontier Nursing University. Valerie is a dual certified Family Nurse Practitioner by The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and The American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Valerie has over two decades of experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology and has also spent time working with breast cancer patients. Through this work, she was nominated for the Lane Adam’s Quality of Life Award by The American Cancer Society. She was also recognized by Atrium Health for pioneering a “backpack” program for underserved children in her community.

When Valerie is not helping patients, she loves spending time with her granddaughter, Ava. She also enjoys playing with her dogs, Scarlet and Logan, as well as spending quality time with her husband and adult children traveling and going to concerts.
